Well, if there is one thing I have learned in my tenure in the Internet Marketing industry, it is this…..There is no such thing as “Time-Tested Marketing Strategies”! Everything moves and evolves so quickly….just when you think you are on top of the latest Internet Marketing Trends and Fads, a new wind of emerging technology blows in forcing you to adapt and change the way you market on the Web!

So, only the pliable, flexible and adaptable Internet Marketer will survive in this rapidly evolving Internet Landscape! I have realized in my own ebusiness endeavors that I can NEVER allow my Internet Marketing platform to coast in neutral even for a second, otherwise, I will easily get left behind. As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, I consider myself to a perpetual life-long learner of Internet Marketing.

I want leave you with a few predictions on the future of Internet Marketing Trends for 2007. It is going to be an exciting year as we get set to launch our new Outsourcing Portal in January and seek to leave our own mark in the Internet Marketing space. So here a few predictions (in coles notes form) to think about….

1.  Consumer Generated Media (Wikis, Social Networks, Blogs and Vlogs) will continue to grow in popularity, followed by a corresponding decline in Traditional Media (Daily Newspaper). Internet Marketers will need to look at how to effectively monetize and captialize on the many different social mediums emerging to the forefront.

2.  While many predict that Blogs as a whole will plateau in 2007, I believe we will see a rapid growth in corporate and business blogs seeking to build an authentic dialogue with their existing and prospective consumers. Blogs will become a permanent fixture in the average web company’s SEO efforts. Improved web analytics will emerge to effectively track and measure blog user traffic and behavior. The smart business blogs for 2007 will provide a steady stream of podcasts, video and cool images, all in a readable format for mobile devices.

3.   Internet Marketers will seek to more effectively monetize the “You Tube” revolution. I believe you will see a rapid surgence of niche “You-Tube” start-up sites targeting specific demographics and audiences. The same goes for Social Networks with new targeted networks emerging to grab a little market-share from the Social Giants, My Space and FaceBook.

4.  RSS Readership grew in leaps and bounds in 2006 and Web Content Syndication and RSS marketing strategies should be at the top of the marketing agenda for many web businesses in 2007.

5.  Mobile Media - What can you say - it is no longer a sleeping Giant, but will be become a permanent fixture in any savvy Internet Marketer’s game plan in 2007.

So there are a few Internet Marketing trends I believe will continue revolutionize the way we market on the web in 2007.

As it relates to our own business, esalesguru.com, I am convinced that we will continue to see a rapid growth in the Outsourcing of a new and emerging Internet Marketing functions.  Many companies will continue to face the daunting challenges of keeping current and competitive in the Web 2.0 movement and will be seeking experts to help them navigate this new Internet Marketing frontier. I foresee a continued increase in niche Internet Marketing Specialists offering unique services to meet those ebusiness needs.
