I came across a great list of Internet Marketing Forums the other day that I wanted to share with you. I am not sure how involved you are with forum conversations currently, but I am a big advocate of Social Media Marketing and am always looking for opportunities to "join the conversions" pertaining to my industry-specific topics. While some may think perusing forums is a poor time-investment, I have personally found it to be a very valuable way of connecting with prospective consumers, establishing a meaningful dialogue and tactfully sharing about what I do and the services our company offers. Now, any promotion of your business in a forum must be relevant to the conversation your involved in and not come across as "salesy" - Otherwise, you might get blasted by the forum participants - a slippery slope for sure!
