Interview with Google Founders, Sergey Brim and Larry Page

This interview from the private conference, Zeitgeist, that Google holds every year found its way on to You Tube! Zeitgeist is a yearly conference held by Google exclusively for their partners - typically none of the presentations and content are made public until now:)

I don’t know about you, but I am always fascinated to hear Google Founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brim talk about their plans for further innovation and scalability of their business. Just when you think it can’t get any bigger???

I found Larry’s comments about the 70-20-10 principle of their business interesting. Google spends 70% of it’s resources on core tasks (ie Search), 20% on it’s additional properties and projects and then finally they leave 10% to focus on “anything goes” innovation. This 10% is where they likely test new ideas and product lines.

Anyways, the interview is about 30 minutes and definitely a good use of your time (IMHO)!.
