What is on your Virtual Assistant Wish List?

I don’t know about you, but as a web business owner, I am constantly wearing WAY too many hats and doing too many non-core tasks that steal my time away from my "High Pay-off" activities. Can you you relate? So, as my kiddos are putting together their Christmas Wish Lists, I thought I would create a Virtual Assistant Wish List of my own that includes the many tasks and activities I would like to outsource in the New Year. Here are a couple at the top of this list:

  • Affiliate Research, Prospecting and Recruitment (Hugely important task, but serious time drag)
  • Blog, Article, Press Release and Social Media Submission (Again, a key task that just takes up TOO much time)
  • Keyword Research
  • Content Writing and Editing

I would also love to have the Virtual Assistant be my designated "Social Media Coordinator" in which they comment on blogs, and pinpoint industry-specific social networks and forums that I need to be connecting with. I would love them to receive and screen all my Google alerts of the many keywords that I am keeping track of related to my industry. The list goes on……

I have just given you a snippet of the kind of Virtual Assistant Wish List I am formulating.

I would be very interested to hear some of the Virtual Assistant tasks and responsibilities that would be on your wish list! Please send some comments.

Maybe, my wife has already wrapped a talented and versatile Virtual Assistant under the Christmas Tree - wouldn’t that be nice!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Craig,

When you’re ready for that virtual assistant, let me know. My business, MAD Typing and Consulting, stands ready to assist.

I am a 20+ year administrative veteran, VA business owner (5 years and counting), and am a Member/Accredited Business of the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin as well as the International Virtual Assistants Association.

Happy Holidays!

Hi there!

What a great post! I have also been going through my wish list for the holidays and I too want an assistant for the New Year. I have been in business almost a year now and I still want to develop a marketing strategy specifically based on my business needs.

I have read through your other blog posts and have enjoyed them thoroughly.

Do you mind if I add your website to my resource page? My email address is trina@vaassistant.com.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Hey Craig, I stumbled upon this post tonight doing a Google search.

The main tasks I outsource to VAs are my graphic design projects. As each VA may specialize in different area’s I like to keep an active list.

Too bad your wife didn’t come across my virtual assistance gift certificates before Christmas… I still have these up for sale on my site and I also have a discount coupon on my media kit page!
