The future is bright for RSS Marketing.

So, 2006 is almost behind us and it is a prime opportunity to look back at how different emerging technologies such as RSS feeds (Real Simple Syndication) have progressed over the past year.  While RSS technology is still used by less than 50% of online users, no one can deny the rapid growth of RSS Feed subscriptions in 2006. Brent Hill, VP of Advertising for Feedburner (A powerhouse RSS Feed Management company) pointed out in a recent Interview I read that their number of RSS feed subscriptions have doubled in the last 6 months. They are presently delivering 28 million feed subscriptions every day!

Given the meoteric pace of RSS feed subscriptions, this certainly forecasts a very bright future for RSS Marketing and Advertising heading into 2007. A recent publication of the Adotas newsletter provided the full transcript of the above mentioned interview with Brent Hill.  Check out this interview titled: An RSS Refresher: Feedburner’s Brent Hill Fires Off On the State of Feed Management.

By the way, anyone read about Time’s Person of Year for 2006? I plan on digging into the full article tonight and will give you my take on “Time’s Choice” shortly!!
