As you might know from reading previous posts, I am a big promoter of podcasting for businesses. Podcasting is an awesome avenue for connecting with existing and prospective customers virtually anytime, anywhere. The portability potential of podcasts enables you to reach audiences in all sorts of different locations (Commuting Home, Running on the Treadmill).
Now, there are some simple ways to develop and syndicate your own podcasts through just tools as Hipcast.com. I have used this service quite a bit to develop some shorter podcasts and announcements to my user audience. It is effective to a point. However, if I am looking to create a more polished and professional Podcast or a Paid Podcast series, then I would likely not use Hipcast as it does not have the editing capabilities or production tools neccesary to create a high-quality product.
Now, unless you have the editing technology in-house, it does make good sense to outsource your Podcast production to the experts. Many of the Podcasting services provide expert knowledge in crafting your podcast script and key marketing strategies for effectively promoting your podcast to the right audience. They also incorporate good technology for editing the "Uhs" and "Uhms" in your presentation and improving the overall flow.
Based on my own research, I came across two innovative Podcasting Services online that you might check out if you are need of this kind of service:
1. Podcasting360.com - Their homepage is basically a Ipod shaped interactive presentation explaining the different podcasting services they offer. They provide a nice overview of the phases in building and promoting a podcast.
2. Podcastwise.com - They are a full-service Podcasting production company and feature an interesting 9 minute segment worth listening to called, Podcasting For Business.
I think many businesses are still looking to leverage the potential of podcasting. Again, if the expertise is not in-house, then it might just be worth the investment to outsource your podcast to the experts!

As a web business owner myself, I can honestly say that Podcasting has done wonders for expanding the reach of our audience and prospective customers. The coolest thing about podcasting is it’s sheer portability for communicating with prospective customers in their car, on the bus, on the treadmill etc… I know I have said this in previous posts but web businesses that are not incorporating podcasting into their communication and marketing strategies are missing the boat!
I recently came across a neat Interactive Podcasting tool called Talk Shoe. TalkShoe offers an online turn key solution to create, manage and podcast your marketing messages, product promotions, corporate announcements and even FAQs. What I really like about this tool is the interactive nature with which you can create live audio seminars and discussion groups with hundreds of talkers and thousands of listeners. This tool might also be simply way to conduct focus groups for new product launches. The Talk Shoe tool enables you to invite as many users as you would like to join your discussion group and you have the option of creating a "Listen Only" podcast or a live interactive chat with the participants in the call. Participants have the option of talking or text-chatting with other callers and the host of the podcast.
I don’t know about you, but when I review new technology, I am always impressed with those companies that are able to create a VERY user-friendly solution with Google-like simplicity. Talk Shoe has done an excellent job at creating a quick and easy platform for building a whole variety of Interactive Podcasts. A tool definitely worth checking out!

As I have mentioned previously, I am an avid subscriber of pretty much any Web Marketing Publication I can get my hands on! Of course, the downside to this is a bogged down inbox full of Internet Marketing Articles, white papers, special reports, ebooks and podcasts.
Now, creating free and relevant web reports and ebooks have and continue to be an excellent tool for building a subscriber list, launching a new web service or product and ultimately providing fresh content that pre-sells your respective product or service. I must say that I have personally reaped the benefits of this strategy in building my own internal list! More
